1. Your call, it lets you try the image filters which are fun.
2. I did not, I use LR4 and it fits right into the flow that I use for the K-5

4. None that I can think of learning, there are some settings recommended in the thread 'Share your shots with the Q' for tuning the sharpness, etc.
5. It can wait, till you want to use adapted lenses, but the Peaking is nice if you want that.
