Does the 02 tip the Q forward?

I know its an odd question but in looking at the 6 lenses next to each other in those newly posted videos of the Q10 and lenses it struck me that the 02 (and the 06 when its available) might tip the Q/Q10 forward when the camera is placed on its base on a flat surface? Can anyone comment on this?

Yes, very slightly. Stick one or two credit cards under the front of the lens and it will be level on the Q. Don't have a Q10 to try at the moment. It is a little larger so it may tip forward more than the original Q.
thanks

Thanks. Makes the Manfrotto mini-tripod useful in another way then because you can extend just the 2 front feet to stabilize it.

I wouldn't use the 02 with out it's hood, the jjc is like a few bucks and with it on the camera is level, pretty nifty for long exposers on table top. Not a weird question, I find the blocky shapes on the Q and K-01 an advantage for use with out a tripod...

Good to know. I have the JJC hood for the 01, what's the quality like on the 02 hood?

it's a thick plastic with a bayonet mount just like the official one.

ya it locked in pretty good (I don't own the 02 zoom anymore I sold it), I never had it bumped off and what not.

The size mainly, defeated the purpose of the Q for me but I didn't find it much different than the 01 (build quality was great) especially with built in corrections in lightroom, 01 for me was a tad sharper, I owned all the lenses even the 3rd party lenses (slr magic and sonnetar) I got rid of everything and kept the 01, sonnetar, and fisheye. I mainly use my Q for my personal street photography and those three lenses are all I need.

Makes sense to me. Does LR have the 01 & 02 lenses in its database?

Thanks. The hood seems to be very useful in making it level. Nice that it was designed like that, perhaps why they selected a squared off hood for the 02?
