Seeing that I brought up Gorilla Pods, and I know most people shy away from them. I took a couple of shots to show the strength of the one with magnetic feet. The first two might make your heart skip a beat, and Don't try this at home. Take my word for it, there is no tricks involved.
This is the Q, the Pentax Adapter and the DFA/WR 100mm macro, hanging for dear life. If it falls, the lens is shot, likely the body not to mention the wifes glass top stove.
This one, umm.. again don't this at home, or Anywhere for that matter...
Ok, you can breath again.
Personally wouldn't use this Gorilla Pod with anything other than the native Q lenses. The ball-head won't support any adapted lens I have. But, I think this thing has a use. It's ~8 inches long, fits in your pocket and if you sit forgetting it's there it will just bend to shape without stabbing you. Street shooters that would generally find a tripod not street friendly can stick this thing to any metal pole or sign around, you might get a few wtf looks. But you might get a few shots you couldn't get before.
One more to show it's safe with the Q and the 02, while supporting the camera angle.
