Monochrome, this 3 film/3 digital camera rule. Does this mean purchases per year? If not, I would never be able to live by the rule.
good luck

Addiction is a harsh mistress.

I have only 3 digital cameras - , K-01, K10D and Q. Granted I have two copies of one of them, but the copies are different colors - and that's a world of difference from 7 50/1.4's.

The Q deal pushed me to 5 cameras: K-5, Olympus OMD EM5, Optio WG-90, Canon Powershot S90, and the Q.

Keeping track of the batteries and chargers is awful! . Especially when you factor in my wife's camera and my daughter's camera.

I know well the "charger" problem. have a few digital cameras. Pentax DS, K10D, K20D, K-7, Q, K-01, Olympus E1w/grip , 330, 620, 830, EP-L1, Canon D60(6mp).

Sigma DP1 Merrill.

Point and shoots: Pentax Optio A10, Olympus 4040, 5050, Stylus 710, CanonSX110, SD750, Panasonic LX-2, Kodak Playsport, Radio Shack Optimus (optical viewfinder), Minolta Diamage X,. Table full of chargers.
Film cameras are even worse.
thanks

Hah! Can't touch me. I have 2 *istD bodies, a K10, K20, K7, K5, two Qs, an Optio W20, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX9 and a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S75. And the old MX, one of the real ones. The ex- took a K200. I could part with that and only let her have the kit lens with it.

The only ones that get used on a consistent basis are one of the Qs, the K5 of course, the W20 when I'm on the water kayaking, and the WX9 when I'm cycling.

Well so far mine isn't an -ex, but then that's why I'm negotiating aggressively . So far she's only taken over the Optio A40 (best compact Pentax has ever released, too).

My particular OCD presents itself for film cameras. Especially black film cameras with no brassing.

Well I finally did it - second Q body on the way.

It's not that I didn't want or need one, just feels kind of extravagant in a way I guess. But now I can leave my one body rigged up for the adapter and viewfinder for my long lens reach and have the other for the native lenses.

I was getting kind of nervous - I think the well will run dry shortly with the discounted Q's.

I now own 1 Q, but I may buy another one if I can't find a 02 zoom at a good price

I don't doubt the 06 is a better lens than the 02, but it just doesn't fit my style of shooting, I'm not really a telephoto guy

I'm happy with the 01 and the 03 but I would like a 30-35mm equivalent.

In fact the 04 would have been perfect if it was a real lens like the 01.

Maybe I should look at the C-mount lenses.
