Did you buy a 2nd Q?

UPDATE - There is a new Poll on this topic at
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-q/214567-did-you-buy-2nd-q-update.html

With the price as low as $189 in Australia and $279 (briefly) in the US for the Q kit, I'm wondering how many people bought a 2nd Q kit?

Not yet at least. But I just bought my first one. I might try to buy a kit with the 06 zoom later. (I guess that will be a Q10 then.) (Not quite as cheap here in Sweden anyway.)

Yep. I got two.
I hope "2s" don't come in "3s".
With Black Friday at B&H for the DA* 50-135 f/2.8 - Yep. I did it again.
So the Qs were an awesome deal and then the 50-135.
I can't afford much more.
Good thing there are two Pentaxians in my home. I couldn't "justify" all these Pentax Purchases if it was just me.
I wonder if Pentax realizes how much money I spent with them in 2012?

The poll isn't showing the results for me...

I have the q and both prime lenses. I'll get the wide angle when it's released. I'd like the 06, but I can't justify it...

Results show after you enter your choices. If you have entered your choices and they still aren't showing up then refresh the page.

What wide angle, the one on the roadmap?

Yep, the one in the roadmap. Still can't see the results though. I'll try a different browser.

One is enough, I'm not too impressed with the IQ. They look like they've been taken with a P&S.

Why are the Poll results hidden, BTW?

I don't see a poll, but I'm on tapatalk.

In any case, I did buy a 2nd Q. My wife often takes the Q when she travels, and I missed having it around. I considered waiting for the Q10, but I really like the jewel-like miniature magnesium construction, and I'm happy with the IQ, so I stuck with the ur-Q.

Selar, the Q's results can look P&S-like, but only if processed like a P&S image. Try shooting with fine sharpness +1, NR low, shadow and highlight compensation OFF, and reversal film setting. Use custom WB indoors and outdoors if the light is blue. Or shoot RAW. Shot RAW, the results remind me much of my old Nikon D200, up to ISO640. That's pretty astonishing to me.

I'm not sure where I fit in to the survey. I have Q + 01 + 03, but have Q10 + 02 + 06 + K-Q adaptor on back-order.

I could see myself getting another Q to add to my collection every year. I will most likely wait till the end of next year to see what deals are available for the Q10. If they continue with the trend of cutting the prices by 50% or more then I will have no problem with being a year behind every time I bite the bullet.

In the meantime I am absolutely loving my current original Q and will continue to bulk up on accessories/lenses for it that will hopefully transfer over to future Qs as well.

I bought the original Q with the 01 prime when the price dropped to $399. I still think it was a pretty good deal. I added both the 02 zoom and the OVF not long afterward - before the sub-$300 close-out deals started. Oh well. After the New Year, I'm sure I'll add the 06 zoom and the Q-to-K mount adaptor (I have plenty of K-mount lenses). After that, I'll probably be done. None of the toy lenses interest me.
