I love that little $114 lens. Its my first, and only, Fish-Eye but it's been a great addition to the kit. I tried a friends FE on my GF2 and the IQ was pretty poor IMHO. This little lens, with the focus peaking, is very good.

Yes you guys are right, the first set are the Q 03 FE. I was pleasantly surprised at how close they look.
The 10-17 goes a little wider, this shot is at near the 12mm position.
For the small size the Q guys did a great job on the 03.
Are these shots in jpeg or raw?

I've been contemplating the 03 Fisheye myself. In crewl1's examples, it doesn't look "fishy" at all. I only have experience with the Pentax 10-17 which of course can be fishy at 10mm and almost standard at 17mm. So I am assuming that the 03 fisheye is fairly equal to 12mm equivalent?

I used the lens image search function here on the site, but didn't see a lot of examples from the Q 03 lens. Like the examples posted above, I guess I expected more of a fisheye look from the 03. Just wondering if you can force the fisheye look with it by shooting with the lens at different angles like you can the 10-17.

Anyone else notice that this lens is sharper -- at infinite focus -- if you back off from the "far" end of the distance "scale" about half a degree? If I crank it fully over, the focus is soft soft soft. Wind it back 1 mm and it's much better.

Yeah there's def an optimal focus setting - I have mine taped. I would describe it as "one big notch, left of center". It does makes a big difference!

Yes since it can focus past infinity you have be careful or you will see the future, and it is not pretty
