Pulled my back the day before my daughters birthday party....

I pulled my back the day before my daughter's birthday party. I knew that if I did not take pictures there would be like 1 or 2 total because my wife is just too busy talking to the other parents. So, I didn't want to carry my K-5, grip, and lens selection to the party and aggravate my back. But, because I own a Q there was an easy solution.

The Q 01, 02, and 03 all together weigh in at ...well...functionally nothing...and my back was happy AND I have lots of photos of the kids at the party.

Why do I own a Q? More reasons every day it seems.

Pfffft... what this tells me is, the Q is for the weak or wounded!

Strong men like me, we'll go get that D800 and 100-400~

Great story! (except for the bad back of course.....)

For other reason there are many days I just can not even pick up my K-5 - I am hoping the Q will come in handy on those days so I can at least make a couple images.

Well, if you want to demonstrate how strong you are there is always Large Format........

Actually it probably was where she's at. There's tons of similar birds there and they are shameless beggars. Wave a single FF in the air and you'll likely attract 50 seagulls! Those I think only eat fish though. A sushi place is definitely appropriate. :P They like bait shops too, for obvious reasons. Lauren, for future reference as you'll probably find it very handy FL being absolute birdville. Oh and FYI, if you have small pets don't leave them outside unsupervised. There are tons of hawks and many of them eat small game. They will swoop down and grab cats and small dogs. I've seen that. Not to mention there's plenty of gators and coyote...
