lots of Q pictures and a few words

Last Summer I used the Q for some holiday family pictures, especially during longer hikes. While my Rollei certainly will stay the landscape camera, I was quite amazed by the nice quality of the Q.

You can find a little article here on my site: Wim van Velzen photography: webarticles, q for cute

HI Wim,

Looks like you had a great trip, and well captured by the Q -- some really beautiful landscapes, and a really good mix of styles to record the trip.

It's really nice to see that a Medium Format shooter can appreciate what the Q can bring to the table. There's been quite a bit of format snobbery aimed at the Q.

Nice shots of your camping trip and beautiful scenery, looks like the Q passed the test.

Very nice indeed! Some of those shots are great! I would definitely take the Q over any comparatively priced point and shoot currently on the market.

You've got a great eye Wim, enjoyed looking through your photos very much. Those would be great photos from any camera and shows that the Q is quite capable.

Very nice scenery!.. Makes me want to travel
Some photos seem over sharpened to me, was there some post processing to this effect?

Thank you all for your replies!

@ Sledger - the pictures don't look oversharpened onn my screen and to my taste. They certainly aren't meant that way. Are there more eople here who think some of them are oversharpened?
