Nice looking lens I have added it to the chart, should be fun on the Q being f1.2

Hans
Thanks for updating the index, Hans.
I have been/am still out of town and can't do it off the machines I have access to.

Pearsaab, never be sorry for posting great shots. Love looking at them. Keep posting.
thanks
barondla

Glad someone is having great weather. In the midwest it has been constant 20-30 mph wind for a week.

Pentax-A 50mm f2.8 macro

I only recently acquired the Pentax adapter, but I took this yesterday with a Pentax-A 50mm f2.8 macro lens.

Looks good Cynog. I updated the index to reflect this and Amy's last DFA100 entry.

Thank you Crewl1 and pearsaab: I was very pleased with my first effort. It bodes well for this combination.

SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5

Only my second day with the Q and first with the Fotodiox adapter, the first shots with the 35-70 were shot at F5.6 and 8 as I saw that was the suggested ones by other people.

Takumar-F 70-210mm F4-5.6

(I did not use a tripod with last lens, had to with this one.)

Unfortunately the shots were stuck on the Bright setting for the 70-210 - hit the little dial in front and did not realize it . Once again shot with 5.6 and f8. Fotodiox adapter Here are two more not shot in bright mode but cloudy setting, the robin at 5.6 and the flower at f11. These are very small flowers, about 1 1/4 inch across and the macro is in the 210 end of the zoom in a lens not known for its macro ability at all.

35-70 pentax F macro
Welcome to the forum of joy and thanks for posting your lenses. Would you please add some additional info to your posts like what aperture the images were shot at, what adapter was used and on the last one improve the identification of the lens so we know exactly what lens it is. Based on your post title I assume you are shooting a SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 and SMC Pentax-F 70-210mm F4-5.6 are those correct? Some of the things we are trying to identify in this thread is how to best shoot each lens on the Q. Thanks again for your post

Right on the first lens but it was the Takumar version on the second, only my second day with the Q and first with the Fotodiox adapter, the first shots with the 35-70 were shot at F5.6 and 8 as I saw that was the suggested ones by other people. Unfortunately the shots were stuck on the Bright setting for the 70-210 - hit the little dial in front and did not realize it . Once again shot with 5.6 and f8.
