Bought this lens from eBay for $22. Mine's the older metal-bodied version with f-stop & focus distance markings. The new plastic-bodied version with no f-stop or focus scale markings, but optically identical,
is here. It's also available new from B&H for $70,
here.
Here is what it looks like on the Q:
All of the following were shot JPG with the original Q. Only post-processing was a contrast bump in Photoshop. In the interest of keeping the page bandwidth down, I'm hotlinking instead of posting the images directly. Since I don't feel you can get an accurate idea what a lens does when looking at a reduced image size, all linked images below are original 12.4 MP size.

These pics show the amount of halo distortion around white text on a black background at various apertures: (Taken on a copy stand.)
Wide open at f:1.3, there's A LOT of halo. At f:2, it's useable. At f:2.8, it's better yet At f:4 it's virtually gone Here it is at f:5.6

These pics show general sharpness: (Taken on copy stand. - Note: The girl's face is out of focus on the original photo that was copied. Not a fault of this lens.)
Wide open at f:1.3 At f:2 At f:2.8 At f:4 At f:5.6

The following shows out of focus highlights: (It as 4 aperture blades, so a bokeh monster it is not.)
Wide open at f:1.3 At f:2

Specs:
8mm focal length equivalent to 45mm "normal" lens on the Q.
4 aperture blades
Stepless aperture adjustment
2/3" sensor coverage
35.5mm (I think) filter threads on mine (no filter threads on newer version)
Focus distance & aperture markings. (not on the newer version)
PROS:
Useful and fun lens
Cheap
Reasonably sharp at f:2, and even better at 2.8 and slower
Excellent build quality
Smooth operation
Focuses easily with focus assist on the Q
Very little vignetting
Virtually no fringing
Tiny size is ideal on the Q
Truckloads of halo wide open might be useful for a dreamy LOMO effect.
CONS:
Manual focus
Soft edges
Bokeh isn't great
Truckloads of halo wide open not useful for anything except a dreamy LOMO effect. (It's a double-edged sword kinda deal.)
For under $30, I think it's a keeper.
Here's a couple quick test snaps taken in daylight around f:2.8 to f:4 with it:
