There were two pictures. One had to click the right arrow to show the second one. It was a picture of a black body with the 01 prime lens attached. If we get delivery with the 02 zoom lens, it would be a case of 'false advertising'.

Both pictures show the 01 prime, perhaps it changed at some point but I just checked again. One picture has a deck of cards and the other a golf ball and some tees. If there was another one, I missed it. No shipping notice yet but I am assured that "Our squad of hyper-intelligent octopuses successfully processed your purchase without entangling their arms. " Now THAT'S reasuring.

They did change one picture.
Funny, the deal ended with 610 sold, and now it shows 630 sold.
Must have found 20 more hiding under the octopuses.

I expect to get the 01 lens. Usually the description in "the deal" section has the basic unadorned info on what is being offered. But that doesn't mean that there might not be some of the zoom lens kits left around at groupon that get mixed in. I had read somewhere though that somehow groupon had wound up with most if not all of the remaining stock of the 01 lens q kits from Pentax NA. Not sure where I read this but would seem to be the case, or it was until they just sold them. Wonder if they have another batch or if this was the lot..

Now what I would like to know, is if there will be any similar markdowns of the 06 lens or the pentax adapter.. That may take awhile ot occur.

Octopuses are notorious for hiding and hoarding these little cameras...
That's 630 more "Q-sers" out there! (Well, realistically 500 more new users, and 130 people getting a spare body with the 01 lens!)

So, now we are called "Q-sers"? I have to remember that. ... and the regular sized folks are called "K-sers"?

My son asked for my Panasonic LX3 to take to school, so this is its replacement. No wide angle, well other than the toy, but we will see. This is about the same size as the Canon Elph series, and I had one for years was sized just right for a pocket.

Its funny when things are priced right, they tend to go rather quickly.

The fine print said something to the effect that units would ship about 2 weeks after purchase.

Pentax seems to have committed themselves to supporting the Q system, so hopefully the lenses and adapter will not be marked down and sold at closeout prices for many years.

$269.00 with free shipping for the Pentax 06 Telephoto Zoom 15-45mm f/2.8 Lens 22157 B&H Photo seems to me to be a decent price since the 06 has not been out long.
