Well, it looks like I too am in the shipping Q. FedEx has it arriving in their Ohio facility today at noon. It appears that its going to take some time to "migrate" over here to Aridizona.

On another related note, if you have not seen this thread - take a look. A Cannon shooter has a new Q and posted a wonderful image with a background bokeh that has a very painted sense to it (well at least to my eye).

Well, despite the fact that Groupon usually has a "no returns" policy for Goods, they are allowing these to be returned for any reason due to their crappy website pictures.

I just picked up my Q at the post office.

Very small! And very cool. I can't believe how tiny the lens is! But would still love it if they could make a pancake lens to make it more pocketable.

Still...this looks like it will be a fun camera. I'm already thinking about that fisheye lens.

Mine will be delivered Friday! Looking forward to having the prime lens... hopefully it will make my Q a little more usable. So far, I love the handling and use of the Q (Except for having the play/delete buttons reversed from all other Pentax cameras), but I'm not loving the IQ, because my ISO has to be too high to make a decent shot with the zoom. Hopefully this will change with the prime lens!

A 35mm equiv pancake would be nicer to have than the 01 in my opinion

Took me about 1000 shots of fighting it, but I broke down an ordered the fish-eye yesterday. I used to have a sigma 16mm for the K7, I didn't use it a lot. But not long after I sold it I did start to miss having it. Their a nice lens to have on hand and with the Q it will be on hand more often.

It arrived two days early, well worth the wait, updated firmware for lens and camera (huge improvement, do that first) and have already tried out the Helios 58/2 and the Pentax A 135 2.8; really liking the latter, have to re-try the Helios as I updated firmware in between.

My Q just showed up today with the Prime lens. Seems pretty nice so far. I took some test shots but as this is my first camera anywhere above a p&s I don't think they were very good. I'm still learning after all.

I had held off on ordering any accessories just in case it came with the zoom lens and I wanted to use the extra $$ to buy a Prime, but since it came with the Prime and for the time being I don't need the Zoom, I ordered two extra batteries, another SD card (16GB class 10) and I'm still looking around for a good case (that's not a camera bag, any suggestions would be awesome

).

I think I'll be enjoying this a lot and just getting into the world of manual photography is rather magical in it of itself.
Hope to see all of you around the forums, I'll be dropping in from time to time.
