The Metabones "speed booster" is on the way! The telecompressor lives!

Just leaked on that other website (DPR). The telecompressor lives. Gain one full stop of lens speed. Q not mentioned yet. We need to make it clear we are interested.
thanks

Hi barondla,

I saw that last night and remembered the thread here -- I thought maybe a solution would be to get someone to make either a NEX or 4/3 to Q adapter, then looked up the register distances -- only @ 18 - 19mm meaning that the adapter could only be 9-10mm thick -- probably not practical. . . It'd be better to make a Q relecompressor/adapter -- probably not likely, but we can hope. It is pricey though ($600), but I never thought that gaining a stop would be cheap. . .

Here's a link for those interested in the subject though. . .

" Gain one full stop of lens speed"

If they were to make a version for FF to Q I would think it would have considerably more than 1 stop gain.
