Wow, thanks for everyones thoughts.

To me I want the 01 to make a very small form factor travel briefcase camera.

As lacro suggested, it may take buying a second Q to get a good price on the 01 Prime.

You'll be able to sell your 2nd Q body if you go that route. I just did and recouped most of the cost so that the lens ended up costing me ~$75.

Since I purchased the 01 lens, I haven't attached the 02 since. It's a much sharper, smaller, faster, and just all around better lens to use, and I don't miss the zoom even one little bit. I probably won't get rid of the 02, but I don't see myself using it much in the forseeable future.

Not disagreeing with the praise for the 01, but I find the 02 a fine performer also. Of course the 01 has all the benefits of a fast prime vs. slow zoom, but I'm very happy with the images I've gotten from it. Yes, get the 01, but keep the 02.
It seems to be about the same price to just get a Q with the Prime as a kit as to just getting the Prime alone.

Mine came with the 02, so I'm probably going to end up buying another Q for this reason, as well. In general, the photos I've seen taken with the 01 just look crisper than those taken with the 02. I'll keep the 02 for concerts and such, but I think I really need the 01 for nicer everyday shots! *sigh*

I think I'll be happiest with an 01, 06, and 03 fish eye. I don't really see me using the 02 much. Even the 06 isn't on my "super want" list... I have adapted telephoto. It's on my "if I find a good deal on it" list
