Welcome to Pentax forums. That is a nice astrophoto you posted. Well done. You captured good detail and the exposure is great.

I also have a K-01. It is a great camera. In the future you might try posting pics in the K-01 forum. You will get more responses there.

Consider getting a Pentax Q to compliment your K-01. Q is like a much smaller K-01.

Last Blood Moon I used the Q with a Fotodiox adapter and smc M-200mm f4. I think I'm going to use my Sears (Tokina) 300mm f5.6 this time, as well as setting up the K-30 so I can get the whole transition, time lapse in the field of view.

Blood Moon viewing info. Times are eastern, but I guess it will only be visible from the West.
On Wednesday morning at 6:25am Eastern time the moon will pass into Earth’s shadow, making it appear red.
The event will last about an hour and, owing to the moon’s position in its orbit, will be 5.3 per cent larger than the previous blood moon on 15 April.
The event is the second in a sequence of four blood moons called a tetrad, which occur in six-month intervals.
The next will happen on 4 April 2015 and the last on 28 September 2015.
For the latest blood moon, the moment of greatest eclipse will occur at 6:54am Eastern time, after starting at 6:25am, while the eclipse lasts a total of 59 minutes - ending at 7:53am.

Couldn't quite figure out what Astro "Q" meant and posted a picture from my K-01. Here is a Q picture for the Q group. Q7 with a fotodiox adapter and a 35-105mm "stack of primes".

One chance one shot. Wasn't set up for a moon shot but pulled the trigger anyway.
Out of focus and way over exposed and a rather dull full moon but maybe tomorrow night try again.
Taken with a 560mm astro scope (73x on the Q) with APO triplet. Should be ideal for this kind of shot but I was set up for day light terrestrial bird shots.

A "proper" moon shot.
Taken with the K20 on a 1000mm scope of much lower quality than the 560mm. Even taking into account the difference in sensors there shouldn't be this much difference. Unless there was a lot more air turbulence last night than I realized. Some of it might be the difference in phase.

Could you share your settings?
I found myself struggling with the dilemma between high ISO and low shutter speed during the total eclipse period.

I used F8, ISO 125, 1/125 sec. This is pretty much the standard setting I always start with when taking normal moon photos. At 300mm the moon is moving so fast across the screen, you can't go much slower than 1/100sec. For the eclipsed moon I just raised the ISO to 400-800 depending on how dark it was.

Attached is my best one among many shots during total eclipse.
ISO 1600, shutter speed dropped to 1/5, and still got under-exposed by 2 stops if I remember it correctly. I was not able to get shut speed even close to 1/50. (ISO would be too high then, and the shot was not usable at all...)
btw, I use q7+400mm f5.6, spot metering on the brightest spot of course.

I doubt the Q can do a whole lot better than this at least with my gear and a single frame shot.
There's just limits to that dinky little sensor.

But then I didn't get it for astro work either.

No help from the Sky that night, despite the Neodymium filter, all is pink !
Hazy sky and moderate turbulence, temperature ~18-20°C

tiny Q10, a true killer if not limited to 30 sec :

stacking : DeepSkyStacker 3.3 - finish : Elements 3.0

Shot at sea level in a big city = lots of light-pollution + turbulence !
