Picture of the Q with it's forebear.

I just picked up a Q. While waiting for the battery to charge, I thought I would take a picture with it's ancestor. They really are so close in size. Handling the Q for a bit and then picking up my GF2 makes the GF2 feel so huge.

Looks like a more-than-coincidental resemblance! Welcome to the forums and congrats on the Q.

I remember when 110's were the rage (at least to some folks). Here was Minolta's 110.

Nice. I owned an Auto 110. Wonderful little camera, and newly relevant now that Lomography is making fresh 110 film again!

I had one of those! I actually liked the feel of it. I had a Pentax too but ended up buying and then selling it without ever running a roll of film through it

Welcome the the forums. I honestly had no idea that the Q was so close in size to the Auto 110. I always thought the Pentax Digital I-10 was the digital version of the Auto 110, but the Q is probably closer to in function since it has the interchangeable lenses. Enjoy your new camera!

I actually have a roll of Orca 110 black and white in my Auto 110. My friend ran a roll of it and it did well!

Two of a kind !

BTW if anybody is looking for the hard to find Body Cap for the Auto 110 (or your A110->Q adapter or Soligor 1.7x TC), I found this source online:

pen110bc $4.99 ea (+ $4.25 shipping) !

Quick shipping, the caps are new and even say 'Asahi Pentax' on them, so they may actually be genuine Pentax stock..

BTW #2: If you have an old-school Bogen 3021 tripod, they also have the really hard to find Leg Lock Levers : Genuine Bogen Manfrotto Replacement Parts from USCamera.com
