Manual focus assist & MF lenses

Quick question:

The 2x & 4x manual focus assist only works when a native Q lens (02 zoom) is attached. I'd like to have that feature work with my adapted lenses. Any setting in there to make that happen?

Cheers,
Bob :-)

Hi Bob,

Press the OK button in the center of the 4 ways to activate the magnification focus assist -- I struggled with MF before a forum member pointed this out also.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! I thought there should be a way to get it to work with adapted lenses.

And to cancel the focus assist just half press the shutter button. For some reason I like to return to the regular screen before making the shot........

That combined with focus peaking should really help using mf lenses

As a Ricoh GXR owner I find focus peaking less useful but it is ok.
I really like focus magnification

You can also use the 4 directional buttons to move around your view-area in 2 or 4x magnification
