When I talked to the friendly lady at Newegg yesterday, trying to get the $60 difference I paid just a couple of weeks ago, she said:
We can't refund the full difference, since some of our items may even be $50 less in the future. (we can hope can't we, when the next Q boat arrives)
Creates a vicious circle of wanting refunds I guess.

I'm happy with the $30 refund they did give me.

I'm glad I ordered it as well. I waited too long to decide on the Groupon offer. Didn't hesitate this time and just checked the tracking number to see that it is on schedule to arrive tomorrow.

Sold the Q body to a friend who could use it for Macro work before it even arrives. I'm glad to pay $50 for the zoom lens which will become my fiance's P&S replacement. Score.

I've been browsing since seeing the deal pop up yesterday and feel bad that it ended so soon, but it seems it lasted quite a while even at this new low price. I guess I'll keep an eye out for $179? $149? Tempting with the Q to K converters out there.

I'm also in Canada. I can access the U.S. site no problem, but the issue is that they won't ship to Canada. Here's what one of their FAQ says:

"Newegg.com does not ship internationally. We ship within the United States and to Puerto Rico and APO/FPO addresses only.

"If you are located in Canada (newegg.ca) or China (newegg.com.cn), please use these websites instead for placing orders and shipping within your country."

I notice that Airdrie is not so far from the U.S. -- maybe you've got friends or relatives south of the 49th who could take the shipment for you.

I know Canadians that have them shipped to Mailboxes ETC south of the border and then just drive down to pick them up. You can also have the package sent to any US Post Office as general delivery. It's just addressed as

JOHN DOE
GENERAL DELIVERY
ANYTOWN NY 12345-9999

You can then go pick it up at the Post Office. The question is whether Newegg will ship to general delivery or not. So if you live close to the border, there are options.
