this has probably been asked before, but has anyone found a good case for the q ? i've tried the cosmos case ( for 01 lens attached) on amazon - terrible, another similar case on ebay ( for the 02 zoom ) just nothing that i like, have now a half case on 'her' but wanted something in an everready style case to protect the lens too. right now i just throw the Q into lens bag with the half case, maybe that is as good as it gets ? thanks

If you want an inexpensive after-market light brown leather ER case [EDIT: Fits with a short lens like the 01] PM me - I'll send it for the cost of shipping. Also, consider $10 Pentax Optio case reviewed in the Accessories Forum - works great for the Q / 01 / 02 kit.

read that whole thread on cases for the q and nothing really hits me, but thanks; maybe pentax makes one for it ?

Not sure what kind of case you are looking for, but I went through three this week before I found this one. The only reason I have a case is to put it in my laptop bag at work or so it can roll around the console of my truck unharmed. Anyway, I found this little guy which will fit with the zoom lens attached or not and (I think) will fit a prime on either side of the zoom.

I like this one... Color Travel Camera Bag Cover Case Pouch Protector for Pentax Q Hybrid | eBay ...but I'm waiting to see if I can find something I like that has some dividers like my dslr bag.

received it , put it on the Q and it is excellent, actually designed well; and works well.; just what i wanted-- went to order another one for my other Q and they are out of stock, but hopefully they'll be back in stock soon ?

A real Retro Case, Voitlander Vito B.
Just made another hole for the tripod screw as the pentax is in the center. Did not bother to allow an
opening for the screen as I use the OVF.

I agree and definitely glad I went with this one. It's like it was almost made for the Q, fits my kit pretty good so long as I don't expand it much more. Also it fits inside another gear bag quite well.
