Sammy 800/8 mirror lens on Q (Bower Rokinon Vivitar Opteca .. etc) any Samples ?

For portability this looks about as maxed out as could be .. 4400mm of effective reach in a package that weighs maybe a pound ?

Has anybody tried this? Any full-size samples of IQ ?? Can it go boogie-woogie on your brain?

Yes, tried it and trashed it. Between the already poor resolution of the mirror lens and the additional blur caused by diffraction at f8 it was not worth shooting. As expected, far better IQ is obtained with my Sigma 500/4.5 and its matching 1.4x TC. I still have a few shots with the Q and da*300 and the Sigma posted here (no Rikonon 800/f8 as they sucked):

Wow, the Sigma 500/4.5 work really well with the Q, beautiful shots!! Are you using the Pentax adapter or a third party one with these shots?

Lovely shots in that set - except the K-5 +500 - I would think it could do better?
Were you trying to compare to a crop needed to approximate the Q or?
