Favorites with the Q in Iceland

When the price came down, I bought a Q and a telephoto lens for my girlfriend. She had been using a crappy Sony point and shoot. She really likes the camera, and I'm really impressed with what she can do with it. I think she has an eye for landscapes.

Wow. She took some nice photos. The Q was a good choice of a gift for her. Good choice of a girlfriend for you as well.

The pics bring back memories of me sitting on a ship in Rekjavik harbour and only being able to look at Iceland from afar. The vessel was diverted to Rekjavik to have some satellite gear adjusted but wasn't docked at a pier. The ship lay at anchor and the technician was brought to the ship by small boat, so we weren't allowed to disembark. Oh well, maybe some time in the future.

Oh I don't live there. It was a just a vacation, but it is indeed one of the most spectacular and foreboding places on earth, and I fell it love with it. Amazing in every way.
