Q with K adaptor... then attach 645 adaptor??!!!

Has anyone tried this?

I know it is a bit barmy, but I'm wondering how my 645 lenses would perform on a Q!

Dunno, but that sounds like a very unstable setup- be careful!

In the adapter instructions under " precautions on carrying and using your adapter" it says " do not use this adapter with the adapter K for 67 lens or the adapter K for 645 lens".

Can't see why it would be an operating problem. Might be a carrying problem. Later they say to watch hanging any adapted lens from the Q. If carrying is the problem why mention the MF adapters seperately? My 67 lens will end up on the Q when I get a chance.
thanks

The Q is fun!

that what I would like to mention, too.
I think it also mention not to stress the Q mount when attaching to big lenses.

Before I got the tripod foot I stupidly mounted a K200/2.5 with the Q directly mounted to the QR plate on my ball head. Thinking I would damp the vibrations, I gently released the lens from my left hand, watching as the entire rig drooped.

Before disaster struck I took everything apart and called Pentax Parts.

67 and 645 lenses call for a beanbag.

New to Forum

Want to say hello to all my fellow Pentax users. I did not know this forum existed. I am an older pentax user. First real camera was the Pentax 645 manual. Nice camera. Have several lenses that I'm incorporating into my Pentax K-5II. Had the K-5II for about 4 or 5 years. Like it a lot.

Anyway will be here from time to time posting.

I live in Hawaii but am heading for Israel in January. Will post some pics then.

Welcome to the forum shoboat. Are you hooking a Q body to the 645 lenses?
Thanks,

What an absolute madman!

Just gave me an idea, though. 645 lens to 645-Nikon adapter to Nikon-Q speedbooster.

K-5ii camera with K mount adapter for 645 manual lenses.

My K mount adapter got stuck on my K-5ii. Am afraid to to put it back on my camera. Anyone have any ideas?
