The Q really can hold its own! But now, after seeing this and the K5 vs DP2 thread, I have a problem... I want a DP2 Merrill.

I think I have a worse problem... I want a DP1M, DP2M, DP3M and mythical DP4M! Swapping cameras instead of lenses is fine by me! Much faster. Maybe not the focus...

Well, as long as you're okay with paying $800 "per lens" and never upgrading the body, you have the approach that many people shooting with these things have gone with... And hey, no sensor dust!

Or maybe we can hope the DP4 has a high-quality zoom!

Here is a link to an image I shot today as a Flash Zoomify viewer that goes to 200% (that's a single image, scaled up). This is a 2 sec. exposure (@ f/8) on a catwalk above a 5,000 sq. meter soundstage... about the most boring subject ever, but I can just zoom in and enjoy it!

It's not just the detail, there is something extremely natural when it comes to the tone in the pics.
