I find a new Pentax 25mm 1.4 C-Mount lens! And it's not expensive!
Pentax C22525KP 1" C Mount 25mm f/1.4 Manual Iris C22525KP

Someone use this Pentax lens?

This lens has proven somewhat popular as a toy with the 4/3rds crowd (see images on flickr). As a 1" CCTV it performs quite well in the center, and the corners can be tolerable when stopped down.

Even at B&H you will find better fast 25mm options in this price range for use on the Q. Generally, the 2/3rds inch rated lenses will be smaller and a bit sharper because these lenses more closely fit the Q image circle (most 1/2 inch lenses are CS, and few are rated for modern MP sensors). You might be happier with either of these - as they are rated for sharper performance on smaller sensors such as the Q:

another lens I liked a lot but I broke and never got another one was the SLR Magic toy lens in Q mount. It was more of a tiny real lens than a toy lens. It was sharp, fast at 1.4 and had a really nice bokeh and was around a 60mm equiv...

HiHaving problems load photos due to a old computer.I have a portrait of Shannon Noll (Australian Rockstar) on flickr taken with the Q and Canon FD 85 1.2L. (as taken resized only)...got a few others as well and to me are about the same as the Newspaper Pro with FF got from a closer distance.Shannon Noll at Wagga Harness racing | Flickr - Photo Sharing! was at night from several feet back in a tight crowd. It is an epensive lens (but well worth it and not just for the Q but for other mirrorless too) but I love it.....you need plenty of room. This combination might also do for video from the back of a church and the like.I think any fast 50mm adapted lens or any longer lens out to 135 could do (given enough space).I use .7 exposure compensation.

Here is an example of bokeh using the 06 lens. Taken using autofocus from a tripod 2 ft away. The background is a sofa about 3 ft behind the frog.

Wow! The quality of bokeh it's amazing! Even better than some 50mm 1.8 Fullframe! And only for $250!

Idunno, that 06 image seems very soft, maybe even out of focus... One of the reasons I like my sonnetar, pin prick sharp @ f/4 and the softness wide open is more of a glow than an out of focus look...

The 06 telephoto zoom is reasonably capable for portraits. Here are a couple I took during my Single in March 2013; they are simple candids with no fancy lighting, but you'll get the idea:

KH

This one has had a bit of blurring around the edges in PP:

Robbie

....but my favourite portrait lens on the Q is the FA31:

RB

I find everything I shoot with the Q needs a good nudge on the sharpness slider, but the RAW files take it pretty well.

Thanks

Wow, FA31 is nice.

Too bad it cost more than Q, 01, 02 and 06 XD

Still doesn't take away from the fact the 06 looks pretty bad at the long end... or maybe you just do not have a clue what your doing? but those images are beyond soft, and I doubt you have seen an sonnetar shots other than wide open, not many people own them and I'm one of the only people who post images on the net and I deleted all my Q images from the net but a very few amount as the quality was making my galleries look bad compared to my film shots... and no, the sonnetar is beyond sharp @F4, sharper than anything the Q has to offer currently, someone needs to get there glasses checked

I take back my remarks about the 06 being bad at the long end, those are REALLY nice, thats why I believe if you don't have a clue what your doing do not post sample images, it throws people off...
