Any successful pictures with the Q and DAL 50-200?

I got the k-01 lately with lenses kit DAL 18-55 and DAL 50-200, and not using those lenses on the K-01, have my tamrons 18-200 for walk around and 18-50 f/2.8 for indoor shooting.

I was wondering whether anyone tried the DAL 50-200 lens on the Q with acceptable IQ ?

As I am interested in buying the Q at the present prices and I think that coupling it with the DAL 50-200 mm aas the zoom at this range would be interesting
I may also consider using canon fd 200 1:4

I appreciate your comments

The sticky adapted lenses thread does not list it.
You can be the first.

I was hoping that someone made this combination already and would hopefully like to share the results
that Q seems appealing
and I want one

I hope this setting worked already and a forum member is enjoying his or her Q the way I would

Hey M.Zein, I have a DA 50-200mm and if the weather cooperates tomorrow I'll take some photos with it on my Q tomorrow to show you.

Happy Saturday.

The weather briefly cooperated and I got some photos... I'd consider these "Quick and dirty" shots but they should give you a fair idea of how the lens performs on the Q.

These are to give you an idea of the magnification...

And then some birds showed up to this tree...

The photos of the birds on the branches were taken from the same distance as the photo showing the whole tree, which I took with the 01 Standard Prime lens.

Also found this guy walking around our front yard.

Hope these are useful to you.

The lens looks like it works great Guakala.
Would be great if you could make an entry in the adapted lens sticky so others can refer to it.
Thanks!

No support, it is just a Manfrotto MKC3-H01 (flimsy for this setup) and a Fotodiox K-Q adapter with aperture dial.

Ah really?

Never knew that the photodiox adapter has a tripod mount, it is not even mentioned in the photodiox site.

Good to know, now I will not be ordering a lens tripod mount with the converter

How do you set SR with a zoom lens? Would you just use 50mm with a 50-200 lens?

You should choose the focal length you plan to shoot most.
When shooting from a tripod SR will be deactivated if you use timer delay or IR remote.
These are recommended to eliminate vibration.
