I have now purchased a Q-S1.
I still use them one at a time, but my Q-7 was starting to show it age.
Sometimes I would have to do a “hard reboot” {remove the battery for a few seconds} before it would enable the shutter.
The sellers seem to record all the data they think is important and then package them up, so I had a hard time finding a seller who could even tell me what the ‘shutter count’ {my proxy for usage}, but one actually advertised it had been used only 112 times - the actual count was closer to 100} for $300. I don’t expect Pentax to manufacture any more, so I bought it. My “Q” has found a place as the camera I take with me when I need something that is light or discrete.
yes , I still have the Q + Q-s1 , both still going strong.....

2 Qs here, original white and second bargain one black. I keep meaning to try rigging them up as a stereo pair as I just discovered that my old 3D TV can show stereo jpegs. Trouble is the only pairs of lenses I have are all teles on the Q. The price of a second 01 lens is a bit steep for an experiment.

Formerly had 2, a Q7 and a Q10. Didn't like the Q10 as much so I got rid of it and am currently using just the Q7. I will probably eventually have 1 of each model but I think the Q-S1 will be my next buy. It would have to work hard to top the Q7 for me though.

I have 4. I have the original in both colors. When I got my Q7, it became my primary Q. The fourth is a Q-S1 sitting in its box, unopened, until my Q7 bites the dust. Got all of them when they were on fire sale. =)

Just bought my 9th Q system camera. A black Q10 for $90 on Amazon Japan. My third Q10, but the other two are silver/black and mint green. I want a camera with a 01 lens on it all the time, so will take the 06 off my black and silver Q10, and put the (silver) 01 on it, with the 06 lens on my new black Q10. I think that'll be the best colour combo. Apart from the Q10, I have two copies of each Q system camera, all in good working order, except my white Q. I screwed up the autofocus, (swabbing the sensor too hard, I guess) so I mainly use that for my Auto 110 lenses and other adapted glass. So now I'm up to 9 cameras, 8 native lenses and 6 adapted ones. Since I uploaded this clip I also got the Auto 110 70mm:

The above was my situation last December - then my 06 lens stopped attaining focus in any form. Looking around here, I found a thread indicating this was not an unusual situation. I had thought the 06 {constant F/2.8} was better than the 02 lens F/2.8-4.5 - but I see that the 02 weighs slightly more; I use the 02 more, so perhaps not. The morning after I ordered a second 06 from New Jersey, I was greeted by a silver/black Q-7 2 lens kit for about $300 from Japan, so I purchased it too. So right now I have one Q-7 and one Q-S1 in the closet in reserve while I use the silver/black Q-1. I have two working 06 lenses and four working 02 lenses. Hopefully, this is more than I will ever need.

Most “Q”s forget date only when changing battery, so I simply keep my smart phone on my knee when changing the battery and make resetting date/time part of the process.

Unfortunately these lose the date as soon as they are turned off

Bummer. First I've heard of this problem. Inconvenient, but it doesn't stop picture taking. We lived with film cameras that didn't record date and time. Guess we have to adapt to cameras getting older.

Thanks,
barondla

Of the 5 Qs I have the only one that loses the date on a battery change is one I bought used, without a battery. I store all my Qs with a charged battery in them.
YMMV.

I have 1 of each. Sure I would have more by now had Pentax not abandoned me on the Q line...

I still have the original Q in white and a Q7 in silver along with the 01, 03, 06 and the official K to Q adapter. I've long thought of picking up a Godox wireless trigger for Pentax so that I could use my lights with the Q7 for some semi-professional looking portraits as a sort of fun side project. Maybe someday soon!

Here's a set up i've used way back when i had a Q. Gave unsurpasable rolling shutter problems with longer lenses, sold it and went for the nikon 1 system. The Q is a cute camera though in hindsight wouldn't mind one in the collection again. Have to check wat's available (in Europ)
