Q with AF 392-1176 equivalent (5.6 x 70-210)

I am working with my new toy a SCAF Tamron F4 70-210 adaptall 2 with Olympus Mt. and fotodiox Q to OM adapter. Just happened to have the OM Tamron adapter and the Ebay Chinese Tamron was not machined to get infinity. Not a light weight set up but it will AF with lens wide open or almost, then stop down to get final exposure in manual. Pretty much needs a tripod and self timer helps. Lens made in the 80's has its own self contained AF system. Not always accurate but focusing with a manual lens was even a slower process and hard to see so I thought I give this a try.

That is very interesting. Where does the battery go?

batteries

3 AAA batteries in the bottom of section near the base of the lens. I am using NIH rechargables. One picture taken by the combo is now posted in the lenses adapted to the Q post. It is just a macro at the long end wide open.
