Menorca has one of the biggest natural harbours of the mediterranean sea. Since in former times this was the center of the world, Spain (again in posession of the island) in about 1850 built one last big fortress to keep enemys out. The fortress fills a half-island of about 2 square kilometers. The kitchen of a one of the many cannon stations:
Menorca has two important (for the island) cities: Mahon (Capital) and Ciutadella (bishop's residence)
The big cathedral and an young inhabitant of Ciutadella:
Ciutadella: Small street, at noon the doors will be opened to let fresh air in.
I really like the 03. The image quality is good as long as I remember to focus properly. I like strong wide-angles, but I'm taking my photos when opportunity arises as I walk along. Big and heavy special lenses like my Sigma 8-16mm stay at home and the 03 has to get the job done. For my vision, the fisheye- distortions are not really worse than ultra-wideangle distortions, just different. One disadvantage equally of fishes and UWs: People not used to these perspectives often have severe difficulties to gather what the photos show and dislike them instantaneously.
All photos straight out of cam, just resized. The originals could be satisfactorily printed to A3 for the interested viewer who knows better than to press his nose onto the print.
