Took another route for my bike commute home from work.
Lots of CA, but its a fun lens to use.
Just wish that Pentax did a proper fisheye (but within $300, please)
The Q system is such a joy to use (and so versatile with the lens options).

The oddest thing happened with my exposure bracketed shot with Q7 and 03 though.
All the shots had different crops and ended up to be unusable for blending.
I think its a firmware bug..

Is "Distortion correction" turned on or off? if on, turn it off

Really enjoy the 03 lens. I still need to practice with it a little more!

Three shots withe the 03 from Menorca, mediterranean sea

Menorca has one of the biggest natural harbours of the mediterranean sea. Since in former times this was the center of the world, Spain (again in posession of the island) in about 1850 built one last big fortress to keep enemys out. The fortress fills a half-island of about 2 square kilometers. The kitchen of a one of the many cannon stations:

Menorca has two important (for the island) cities: Mahon (Capital) and Ciutadella (bishop's residence)
The big cathedral and an young inhabitant of Ciutadella:

Ciutadella: Small street, at noon the doors will be opened to let fresh air in.

I really like the 03. The image quality is good as long as I remember to focus properly. I like strong wide-angles, but I'm taking my photos when opportunity arises as I walk along. Big and heavy special lenses like my Sigma 8-16mm stay at home and the 03 has to get the job done. For my vision, the fisheye- distortions are not really worse than ultra-wideangle distortions, just different. One disadvantage equally of fishes and UWs: People not used to these perspectives often have severe difficulties to gather what the photos show and dislike them instantaneously.
All photos straight out of cam, just resized. The originals could be satisfactorily printed to A3 for the interested viewer who knows better than to press his nose onto the print.

Find the Lady, shot from the hip and all sound turned off. With the original Pentax Q and the Fisheye

Blythman,

I'm not seeing the images. You may need to set them to "public" in Flickr.

The color is so good that I hardly noticed the fishiness. Your bright shoes fit right in!

Thanks Mikesul
The perspective gets so distorted - I shoot from many different angles and get just a handful that I think is okay. And that's the fun part of 03.
The world looked just like this when I had a little too much booze on Thanksgiving
