Got my 2nd Q. I am trying to keep up with the Joneses around here, got a deal for a new body on ebay for $106 plus shipping from the UK total $137. The only down side is the power supply has a UK plug but that is an easy fix. So now I'm Q²

With the Q7 coming out more deals should be on the way. I have a Con** S100 with the 1/1.7 sensor and did a comparison between the S100 and Q the 1/1.7 sensor has a slight edge but I couldn't resist a second Q

Welcome to the Q Quiver Qlub
For some reason I thought you already owned more than one, guess I just assumed wrong.
Have fun!

Hi Hans,

I could be wrong, but it seems like there are probably a higher percentage of multiple Qusers than just about any other camera model, with the possible exception of pros who regularly shoot multiple DSLR bodies or require a backup body. My black Q is almost exclusively for adapted lenses, and my white Q is a constant companion with Q system lenses (01, 02, 03, 06).

Q Quiver Qlub I like it!!!

And here I thought you built a jig to take 3d pictures at the average eye separation for the two sensors!

For the price I figured it could protect my investment in adapters and adapted lenses. Plus now I can keep the OEM adapter on a body all the time and have it ready for that long shot.

I did the same thing, bought the 2nd Q. I got one earlier (black one) but my fiancee fell in love with it and I promised to by her one also. So as her birthday came I got her the white Q with 01 and 02 lenses. Price wasn't bad at all IMO as the two lens kit was 314€ shipping included. Lovely little thing, this Q.

Here I am trying to decide whether to buy a Q or Q10 to backup my original Q, and now there is the Q7 to consider. Arghh.

I like the Q/Q10 best for adapted teles and wildlife. This is my main use for the Q. So I should buy one of these as a backup. There may never be another small sensor Q.

On the other hand I could leave the original Q on the PK adapter and use the Q7 on the Q lenses. The Q7 should have the best quality here and I love the wider FE and 02 zoom. Arghh. Pentax, you are killing me.
thanks
