Welcome Genesis and Doberman. You will find the Q very difficult to put down or leave at home. The Q puts fun back into photography! A word of caution, many are uncomfortable with photography being FUN.

I use the original Pentax and Lenmar batteries. They are close in performance. I did buy the Wasabi charger/batteries for my Sigma DP1Merrill. They work fine. People knock the Q for its battery capacity, but the Sigma is far worse at ~70 shots per charge. Love both cameras though.
