Which Colour of Pentax Q do you prefer?

Hey guys, I'm looking at picking up a Pentax Q in the next few days and I can't decide which colour to get. If anyone has any opinions or suggestions that would be great

White is more stylish, feels very classy to me in the art snob in his castle way. The black one on the other hand turns you into James Bond, just suit up, bring your best British accent and travel to Siberia to spy on some Soviet missiles!

Both looks great to me and you won't regret either.

I didnt get a choice. Black.

If I did have a choice, i would have chosen Black.

All the lenses on the Q are silver but I notice the new Q7 has black lenses avaialble (black plastic I'd guess)

I figured some of the new Q7 coloured lenses might look better on a white body though?

I think the white would get grubby quickly, so I chose black.
I'm no fan of the multi coloured Q10 and Q7 either..

White rocks... Alternatively the limited silver and black version... Then black. But black with black 01 and 02 lenses would be great.

Both of mine are black. If I decide to go for a Q7 I will be interested in the silver version.

I can comment on that Thursday - My black Q arrived today and the white will arrive Thursday afternoon according to UPS. And I must say - I´, still smiling when looking at my first Q - It is just... impressive :-)

Pretty amusing to myself to prefer the original body over the much improved later versions - but I do. I'll probably sell all my film stuff this summer and MF lenses too and just use the Q's and K-01 The other stuff just takes up space on shelves lately.

I'm the type of guy who since childhood could never wear anything white because I always find a way to smudge within minutes of putting it on (I've always felt an affinity to Pig-Pen for some reason

). I decided to get a white Q along with my original black body so I could easily differentiate between them, figuring that if the white panels got grimy too quickly, I'd change them out with some skins that I had already purchased. When I got it, I kinda liked the white so the skins have gone unused (so far), and to my great surprise, the white panels have not been a problem -- and the white Q is my daily carry camera with the 01 prime or 03 FE, so it's always in a pocket. If it stays clean for me, then, I suspect that it will stay clean for just about anyone.

White - looks amazingly awesome with the silver Q-mount lenses, and unique enough to stand out among the hordes of black cameras out there....and at the same time, is not in-your-face bling-bling

but rather elegant and classy.

Black is nice too, I'd say a close second to white, if only for it being a little less unique
