ND setting question

I need help...could not find in manual
How many stops loss of light results from setting the ND on
I have the Q with the 5-15 zoom
thanks in advance for any help

The manual doesn't say but if you go to manual and set the exposure correctly then enable the ND filter it shows an under exposure of almost 2 stops or 1.6 stops

Hi mdodrill,

The idea behind the ND filter was to make up for the 1/2000 max shutter speed limitation when using the leaf shutters in the Q system Quality (AF) line lenses. This is relatively slow when you consider that the base ISO is 125. To match the 1/8000 max shutter speed of the electronic shutter, they added a 2 stop ND so the leaf shutters could be used under the same light intensity as when you use the electronic shutter. 1/2000 + 2 stop ND gives you equivalent exposure to 1/8000 at the same aperture and ISO.
