Just Here To Gloat

Sorry K-01 owners / readers. The Q rocks :P

It's really a little silly for those whom haven't played with one. You look at the flash port and go. "sif I'm ever going to put a flash there." Then you notice the tripod mount and your like, "sif I'm going to carry a tripod around with this thing." Even the strap lugs look out of place

The fun factor of this tincy thing can not be stressed enough. What a giggle! :P

But I'm speaking to the converted here no doubt. :P

Anyway. Hard to think how the K10 feels next to this little whipper snapper.

I also own both. They both rock, though the Q rocks a little harder. Pentax did a better job maximizing the potential of the Q. The K-01 could have been better.

thanks

I have 2 K-01's and have just got a Q+01 lens. I'm having a blast with the Q!! I have started taking it with me in my motorcycle tank bag to save space, yet still have a great camera along.
However, the K-01 will produce a technically better photo due to the vastly larger sensor with better DR, etc., so I will logically use that (or a K-5 or whatever) for when best results are indicated. But having both is great! I'm afraid I can never have enough cameras and lenses...

K-01 owners certainly do not need any sympathy. (Like many here, I own both)

There are three colors and at $250 a piece I really couldn't resist. I actually walked around with all three in a messenger bag containing the FA43, DA21, and the DA70 attached to each one so I don't have to switch lenses often. Most people don't even know that it's an interchangeable lens camera when I'm around them and ignore me.
