The F*300/4.5 for Q movie ?

Hi Guys
Considering buying a Q with the idea of some plane spotting landing movies in the style of

He is using a FF with 400 and a 1.5x plus 2x tc ! giving 1200mm in that video.
Have seen one he did with 2x tc twice to give 1600 mm...
I wonder how the Q with my sweet little F*300 would do with its similar focal length ?
any thoughts much appreciated

Should work... That would give you about the same focal length as the rig used in the linked video. I've always been very impressed with the quality of video on the Q.

It would do very well.
I do videos of birds with the Q and my DA*300 and I think they come out great.
You will need a sturdy tripod and smooth panning head because at 1600mm every little motion is amplified.
