You're All to Blame Here

Thanks to everyone here I've now got a Q with the 02 lens, with an 01 on the way along with a couple hoods and an old optical viewfinder.

So far I'm really loving this camera! Definitely the most photography fun I've had in quite a while.

...anyways, there's no real further point to this thread, just thought I'd introduce myself and make it's clear that it's this forum's fault that I'm now here

Meh! I want one, too.

But I will wait a little longer hoping that the price drops even more when the Q7 hit the stores!

Have fun!

Oh, definitely having fun.

The black Q with the 02 zoom is such a great deal on Amazon right now (assuming you want the zoom), since you're effectively getting the Q for $40.

At least that's how I justified it

Thanks! I've been a Pentax fan for quite a while but just never ended up with one of their cameras until now (shot a Nikon D300 for years).

Now I'm starting to go towards more compact cameras so I've got a Panasonic GX1 and the Q. While the GX1 has better IQ, at least for now it's the Q that comes with me more often due to size and fun factor.

Welcome to the fun and the experience of the Q. It's like being introduced to photography again, at least it was for me and I have been shooting for 40 years
