With Q10 price drop it is getting more difficult to resist owning one.

At $399 with 5-15 zoom it is difficult to resist adding this to my Q system. Fear this is the last of the ultra small sensor Q. Future models, like Q7, will be the larger sensor. Guess I need this to backup all of my adapters. Anyone else tempted?
thanks

i suspect there will be a ready supply of low-shutter-count original Q's available in the Marketplace for some time to come.

Pentax's listing of the Q7 on their site implies that it is at the top of a range of Q cameras. I think they intend to, at least for now, continue to offer both sensor sizes because of that phrasing in their advertizing.

I am not tempted by the Q10 as I find the Q body more appealing.
The larger sensor of the Q7 is what will make me accept the new body style.

I for one have all the small-sensor Q's I need for quite a while.

Although I admit they do have a certain apealing Pez-dispenser quality. (Sure, I'll take another).
