Q vs Q7 movie mode

Using the Q with 01 lens, I shot a movie from a ferry as it entered a channel, with the scenery going by. The SR effect was noticeable; I remember being unsteady while shooting, but it was stable. But as the scenery went by, it would try to follow to the limit of the SR movement, then get jumpy. When I panned, it wasn't smooth, but jumpy. I realize this is the limitation of the Q, and the alternative is to turn it off.

Is the Q7 different or better? The Q7 will autofocus while in movie mode. Did they fix the SR?

It's a bit less jumpy on the Q7. You can still see some back-and-forth movement when panning quickly, but it's nowhere near as pronounced.

You can also change the exposure settings during recording and AF during recording on the Q7, unlike on its predecessors.
