Q 15-45 vs. adapted DA16-45

Does anyone have both to compare results on the Q series, or know of a link to such a comparison? I didn't find anything here with a simple search. Yes the DA is bulky and a bit slower, but it would be interesting to compare - in the meantime I can compare the 5-15 at the long end and amuse myself...

Only comparison with the 16-45 is this one at the short end against the 02 https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-q/209474-adapted-lenses-tested-q-r...ml#post2299949

Good catch, thanks crewl1! I'd love the pocketable 06 but for now the DA will serve nicely.

Yes, I'm the one who did the little studio tests that included comparison of the 02 and 16-45. As we know, the 02 is a bit weak at the extreme end (as is the 06 reportedly at the 45 end). I don't have the 06, but I was very impressed with what I got out of the 16-45 on the studio shots, and that put an end to LBA for the 06 at least so far.

However, I was very curious about the c-mount lens possibilities, and have been very impressed by the Fujian 35, as well as a used Tamron 25 (23FM25). These were picked up - along with two nice adjustable Q/PK adapters - for around $100 total outlay. A few image posts from both those lenses can be found on the reference thread (Tamron 25 isn't in the reference listing at the front yet - but you'll find the post at the end of the full thread).

Updated the index now - thanks for the reminder and the contribution.

Wasn't trying to tweak you on that. It is great that you are keeping that thread going - and the organizing of posts is invaluable. Thanks.
