I could never find a decent way to take all the Q stuff with me.
I tried several different bags, but nothing was designed for small lenses and a tiny camera.
I use a Case Logic videocam bag for any Q kit bigger than the original Q with 01 prime.
It's just big enough to hold the Q with K2Q adapter and Voigtlaender 90/3.5,
and has plenty of room for the Q with the 02 zoom,
or with the K2Q adapter and DA 40 XS (my substitute for the 06 zoom).

Probably the biggest thing that made me stop using the Q was battery life.
Best way I've found to extend battery life is to turn off the display whenever I expect to wait more than half a minute or so between shots.

If there's a good Black Friday price on the Q7 I may well buy one.

If I want to take the whole works. I take this Ambico 8mm camcorder bag. It's still pretty compact, even when packed with the Q, 5 or 6 lenses & other stuff. If I want to go very light, I'll use either my small Samsonite waist pack or even smaller Lowepro. I can still carry the Q & 3 lenses, even with the small pack.

Hmmm... I don't think it's too bad, and I use mine A LOT. I do have a total of 4 batteries, but they're cheap & tiny. No big deal to carry some spares in my pocket.

I love the Q, it's just more toy than tool.
For me, it's a very well-designed and useful tool that's also a blast to shoot with. But different strokes & all that..
