Cool video. Thanks for posting. Still no Q7's in Canada yet.

Certainly less difference in real world use than what the armchair theorists like to endlessly theorize about.

The Q7 produced more contrasty shots straight OOC, which I prefer.

Blunty also got it right witg the Q system.
The handling, the fun factor, the encouragement to shoot less seriously and experiment.

Ordered my Q7 yesterday - it should be here today. But I stuck with a conventional black/silver model rather than the yellow. For some reason, we don't seem to be able to get the full range of colours in the UK yet.

Lumix killed the the Q when it came to video but still, I can't seem to feel the same "joy" when holding a Lumix in my hands as with the Q.

The pics from the Q7 looked consistently better, in my opinion.

Agreed. Will pick up a Q7 eventually. Still loving my original Q!

Completely agree with you. I am considering a GM1 but I am still leaning Q. If the GM1 had a small fast F2.8 telephoto or prime of 150mm it would be more tempting but the handling sure does not look that exciting. And I have to say I do like in-camera raw conversion to experiment with some of the filters and looks to get an idea when I get home on the RAW.

Video will definitively be better on the Lumix by quite a bit. One core issue of video on the Q is the rolling shutter wobble. Panasonic does a much better job at controlling that.

Best line: "It's so much FUN!! I'll just go out into the world and shoot for me which is why I pick the Q7 over the GM1 . . . . ."

Wow! Surprised to see the Q7 holding it's own against the micro 4/3s. Very impressive performance from the Q7.

Yes this is really impressive. Most of the side by side photos were very close. I wonder how the original Q would have fared in such a side by side comparison.
