Perry
The 04 wide and 03 fish use the same (odd) cap, the barrel & focus rings diameters look identical except the 03 is a little bit longer overall. Somebody double-check me!

Sent you PM via DPR, thx!

They look very similar; as digital029art pointed out the front caps are interchangeable.

After measuring the two lenses a few times I ended up with 33.60mm for the barrel in front (?) of the riffled focus ring for both lenses, 37.50mm for the one behind (closer to the camera body) on the 03 and 37.45mm for the 04.

Actually, they didn't seem to be perfectly round, with somewhat more variation for the 03 fisheye than for the toy wide. But I suppose a little bit of tape should take care of any difference at that scale, if it is noticeable at all.

Tried to send you a PM but it didn't seem to work out; sorry if you got two of them.

Carl

Shipping has started for the 03 Focus Keeper! I have nearly a dozen unclaimed, so if you would like one PM me or just PayPal to perry@pccaprice.com. When sending PayPal, please select goods/services. It does cost a $.30 more in PP fees but we save that back and more in shipping. Also, your address is not included in notifications. Bottom line, it is easier for me and I'm not keeping any of the $$.

In the US, regular first class postage+PayPal fee+one Focus Keeper (I've settled on that name) is $5.65. Priority 2 day shipping is $9.20. International regular first class, is $10.45 USD. Priority shipping is $28.75USD. ($24.55 priority to Canada.) For additional rings just add $3.00 each.

Thank you for your patience!

Just got mine yesterday, and it's well made. Needs some double-sided sticky tape to keep it in place, but it works as advertised!

Focus Keeper: Double Stick Tape

Glad to hear Charles. Thank you for your stamp of approval. :-) Yes, I forgot to make a note in the box mentioning to add double stick tape. (I did add that note later.)

For other early recipients, just use a very small piece of double stick tape on each side of the ring and you should be good for a long time.

I still have a few unclaimed if someone is interested.....

Got mine yesterday, thanks bunch Perry!!

I sized it up on the 04 toy wide and it's a perfect fit, same as on the 03 fish. Works as advertised, with a light clicking action enabling focus to stay put when actually shooting !!!

Now gotta go and get me some of that sticky tape ..

This should come standard with these lenses imho .. thanks again Perry, you very good man!

I got mine a few days ago, but some computer issues prevented me from posting. This is a very elegant solution for taming the undamped focusing ring on the 03 FE. I'm very happy to have this.

Thank you for all the reviews! :-) It's nice to know it is working well for others as well as I though it was working for me. Also good to know it works for the 04 just as well. Enjoy everyone!
