Q7 Complete Kit plus 08 wide

With a slush and sleet day here, I stayed inside and did a family portrait. Everything in the picture fits into the blue bag except the 04 and 05 toys.

Correct, but the grey one is fine. It is highly useful and does not leave the camera.

CHRIST ON A BIKE.

I was thinking of buying one of these as a cheap, fun camera to throw about a bit at parties.

Maybe not..

In all honesty, for that kinda stuff, you're better off with the 02 Zoom or the 01 Prime.
They're both well priced (these days you'd buy the 02 with the body as a kit, but the 01 prime isn't that easy to find)

If you're after something really cheap; most places have the older Q10 on run-out at the moment.

I shall have a look, cheers for the heads up. Just need to find a similarly tiny flash to go with it now...

ACTUALLY...
The wee little pop-up flash does a pretty good job. I usually *hate* onboard flashes, but because the flash on the Q goes up and out it doesnt do as bad a job in regards to red-eye and blowing all facial shadows.

Oh; and every single flash on earth looks hilariously ridiculous on a Q.....

I got a Q without number two months ago with the 01 prime and 02 zoom. Here in Germany these kits are still available, even 10€ cheaper than when I bought it.

I would go for the first Q instead of the 10, unless the prize was really god. The metal body of the original Q fells good and seems quite durable, the Q 10 is a plastic construction. Also, I did not see a Q 10 bundled with the prime lens, but that may be different in other countries.
