H8 RX to Pentax Q | eBay

Seller says it's a CS mount adapter from his shop. I've ordered one up.

Interesting and opens up a new world of easy to mount cheap lenses if it works!

I built my CS adapter altering a D-2-Q adapter by opening up the hole to 1" and gluing in a CS lens. The D-2-Q adapter is available om Ebay for about $6 you just need a thin shim under the lens, a little trial and error for thickness. At that price I have an adapter glued to 2 of my CS lenses

Intriguing, but it's kinda steep for a little metal ring, IMO. Hopefully someone will come out with a more reasonably priced one.

Beware, H8 RX mount is NOT a CS mount. H8 RX mount is the mount of H-8 REX cameras, the first 8mm cameras designed by Bolex. These are 8mm reflex cameras equipped with a turret.

Bolex Collector | Cameras | H-8 REX

The H8 RX mount is close to the C mount except that the optical distance between lens seat and film plane is 15.305mm compared with 17.52 on regular C mount and 12.5mm on CS mount.

So while the lens may be mountable, the registration distance maybe an issue....let us know when you get it....

So the bottom line is the lens will be a couple of mm too far away from the sensor to focus properly. Bummer.
