06 Lens March Phone only Special

I thought I would make folks interested in the 06 lens aware of a special at B&H. On several web pages that I go to, the sidebar ad for B&H said "March Promo call only", so I did. Although the sales rep didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the promo, the price he quoted was $50 less than the price I have been seeing forever on the their site. So I pulled the trigger.

I'll be looking for that old post that describes how to put a shim in the focus ring to tighten it.

Good deal. 06 is my favorite Q lens, and though I've never had problems with the focus ring.

Due to "MAP", online prices generally don't drop unless there's an official promo, official price drop, or the product gets discontinued. Typically, in-store prices are lower. Glad the banner was able to save you 50 bucks
