The two best lenses I have for the Q are the Promaster/Pentax 100mm f/3.5 macro, and the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8.

Although, if you want telephoto and small size, consider the 75mm Auto 110 lens with adapter. Or even the 50mm.

The Promaster macro does a better job at macro than my bellows system with flat field lens, so consider that.

Charles.

It should be fine. It's exactly like the one I have. Just adjust the tripod screw hole a bit in the metal bracket for a perfect fit.

Yep. It's a really excellent performer.

My first try with the M 135mm f3.5 and KIWI-Adapter:

I have a question about Focus Peaking. What is it supposed to do? There is absolutely no effect when I turn it on. 2x or 4x focus help is working when OK is pressed, but Focus Peak? I have firmware 1.14 updated already...

It is tempting to go longer, but I will shoot handheld exclusively and dont think that this is still possible at some point. Or am I wrong?
I shoot my SMC F 80-200 and my DAL 55-300 hand held but I use the Pentax adapter, the shutter is a must for me when shooting hand held. I find the 80-200 is my go to lens on my Q and Q7 lately, it's light and small with the internal zoom and quite sharp.

My M 135 f3.5 was my lens of choice but the 80-200 is as sharp and adds the zoom. AS for focus peaking is should highlight the edges of subjects but when using 4x focus assist it is of little additional help the edges don't show up as well. The 2nd of your images above is quite sharp
