Anyone notice heat differences between Q models?

Many small cameras are made from metal to help remove heat. My Q has flashed the heat warning on very warm days. Anyone have the Q10 or Q7 to compare? The Q10 has same sensor with plastic body. Does it run hotter? The Q7 throws in a bigger sensor and has the chance of running even warmer. Any multi model owners notice a difference?

I am being optimistic about warm weather finally arriving.
thanks

I live in the tropics.
35degC year round.
I can't say that I've got the warning indicator before on Q or Q7.
IIRC, the Q did run warmer than than the Q7.

While I don't live in the tropics, I have taken both the Q and Q7 to the tropics in hot weather and not an issue with either of them.

I live in Arizona and like to hike in the summer. My K5s and K3 never complain but the original Q often showed the heat warning after only a little use. It never shut down. I just turned it off between shots. I have also wondered if the Q7 would handle heat better.

I'm in Dallas, and we have 3 Qs. Never seen the heat warning.

My [orginal] Q does get warm on the right grip side, but I've never seen a heat warning and I too live in the tropics.
Could be related to the speed of the card used.

My orig Q has shown the temp warning, here in midwest, USA. It was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It was a worse case of leaving the lcd on 10-15 minutes at a time. There is no other viewfinder on the Q, and I wasn't going to turn it off while the Eagles were at the nest. Guess a backup Q body could be changed out to cool things down.Don't have a 2nd Q yet. Waiting for the Q7 upgrade.

When the sensor gets that warm the files must get noisier. Need to test that some day.

Thanks

Double-press the Info button switches off the LCD, single press brings it back instantly. That would help?
