Joining the Q Club

So I decided to join all of you and purchase a Q... a Q10 actually because it was such a good deal ($159 with lens 02). I love small cameras and do a lot of time-lapse professionally, so couldn't resist the possibilities with the Q offered.

I've been looking at GoPro cams recently, but for the price of the Q10, I figured it might make a better alternative.

I've got extra batteries on the way too, plus a C-Mount and Leica M-Mount adaptor... though it looks like the M-Mount may take a while to get here (backordered?). I thought about going for the K-Mount too, but most of my M-Glass covers the same focal lengths and they have aperture rings, so will be less fiddly. Love using them on my Fuji XT1.

I'm looking forward to playing with this camera when it arrives... hopefully by end of this week

That's why I got it... It looks fun and I needed a distraction this week. Got it for KEH so hopefully comes quick

Congratulations DRabbit. The Q10 is a great camera. No camera beats the Q for fun. You will enjoy it.

Ready to see some pics and especially time lapse videos.

What M mount lenses will you be using on your Q?

I'll be interested to hear about your experiences.

Expanding Man: If the adaptor ever gets here (it's estimated end of July, beginning of August right now), I've got a few lenses to try out. The 90mm Elmarit will be interesting to try for a long lens. I've also got a 21mm Skopar and 40mm Nokton that are nice and small, but could make appealing mid-range long lenses. I typically favor wider focal lengths, but it will be fun to play around with.
