Patent: 4.4mm f1.4

Here is newly published patent from Ricoh which looks like it's designed for the Q. It could be the long-awaited fast, wide prime if it is ever actually produced.

June 6th, 2014 - 4.4mm (20mm equiv.) f1.4
Ricoh 4.4mm F1.4(1/1.7")?????????????So-net???
English through Google: Google Translate

And now a recap of some other Ricoh patents for 1/1.7 sensors.

May 8th, 2014 - 45mm (210mm equiv.) f1.8
Ricoh 45mm F1.8(1/1.7")?????????????So-net???

January 9th, 2014 - 4.63-17.81mm (24-84mm equiv.) f1.8-2.8
Ricoh 4.63-17.81mm F1.8-2.8(1/1.7")?????????????So-net??? and an older variant Ricoh 4.63-17.8mm F1.8-2.8 (1/1.7")?????????????So-net???

November 1, 2012 - 5.3-22mm (24-100mm equiv.) f2-3.5mm
Ricoh 5.3-22mm F2-3.5(1/1.7")?????????????So-net???

Finally, a couple from Tamron, which could be applied to the Q. Tamron has a history of making lenses for Pentax, so I don't think it is impossible that they could be developing lenses which would see the light of day as Pentax lenses.

July 25th, 2013 - 8.4mm f1.0
Tamron 8.4mm F1.0 (1/2.3")?????????????So-net???

March 27th, 2014 - 15-50mm (70-233mm equiv.) f1.4
Tamron 15-50mm F1.4(1/1.7")?????????????So-net???

A ~25mm F1.4 would be damn cool on the Q.

awesome developments for the Q, if they come make it through to production! And even better if Tamron does make Q options, but are those patents also usable for m4/3?

The Tamron F8.4mm F1.0 (1/2.3") would be an interesting option for the Q..

Sounds possible for the Q unless it's for a new small sensor GR.

Can't see any use for it outside the Q system, would fill a hole in the lineup as a "sports and wildlife lens".

Could be a 02 v2.0 but more likely a pro-ish compact camera lens.

Typical compact camera lens.

Weird lens and the small projection makes it unlikely for the Q. Maybe something for industrial or TV use?

Possible as no other systems got small enough sensors and it's bad as a compact camera lens. Could also be an industrial/tv lens.

It would be hilarious if they made a tiny 100mm mirror lens for the Q...

although I sincerely hope that this 4.4mm is a new Q lens - could this be a new security camera lens design? Ricoh has quite a large number of those. FA Lens / FA?Security | Ricoh Global

wouldn't it be great if they put Q mounts on all of those - even if they are manual/fixed focus?
