I've just got an 03 fisheye lens which is great fun once you've got used to manual focus on the Q. What lens pouches or cases do you guys use to protect your Q series lenses?

I have a couple of neoprene cell phone cases that I got at the Dollar store a while back.
Wish I would have bought extras as I cannot find them anymore.
They fit the Q lenses perfectly and cushion them well.
I need to get a couple more for the Q lenses I bought afterwards.

The small Lowepro belt case works great for the 02 and 06 a little large for 01 and 03 but it has a belt loop that if feed my shoulder strap for my Q7 through. The lenses just hang form the strap when I am using the Q7 and I use the strap over my head and one shoulder with a loop attached to the Q7

I use the same thing - Q7 (or Q, depending), tabletop tripod, 01, 02, 03, 06, all the hoods, 2 batteries, cards, polarizer and remote (I added a spare 3-section Velcro divider).

I use for the toy wide--which I believe has similar dimensions to the FE--a pharmacy plastic pill container (1.8" ID by 2.5" long) and as an insert a toilet paper cardboard tube wrapped in photo (gaffer) tape, and some insulating foam in the bottom of the vial, and some foam at the top of the tube again held w/ photo tape. As seen on attached photo.

Convenient, secure, and no cost. BTW I use heavy cardboard tubes and cut foam inserts for larger lenses, when i need to go light weight and very secure (e.g., in my back pack under conditions where I cannot take care, and don't need to get to it).

I keep my Q kit in a small Ambico camera bag like this one, and use small neoprene or vinyl lens pouches to keep the lenses from banging together in the camera bag. When I want to go super-compact, I'll stick a couple lenses & cleaning pen in a small belt pack and hang the Q around my neck.

Seconded on the Lens Case O-CB1332. It's pricey; but it's compact, protective, fits nicely in my briefcase when I travel, and holds a spare battery, the 03, 07, and 06.

DK about the duties and taxes but AFAIK mine was as new. It was stuffed with paper like a new high quality purse and sealed in a cellophane bag.

Hi monochrome
Mine was too,but when I opened it and had a good look I discovered
that one side of the bag is narrower than the other side and the front
flap is not straight.I'm really bummed out about the whole thing.
My last order from B&H for shure.

That brown case intrigues the hell out of me. The only place I find it is on ebay.

With release of the new Q-S1 there seems to be a new case for the 02 or 06. Looks like the old hard cases for SMC-M's and A's.
