Anyone tried these?

And another thing, WHY are these available while normal M sized Pentax extension tubes so hard to get and expensive?

These extensions (10, 16 & 21mm) are really huge considering the really short flange distance on the Q mount. The shortest maybe, but I really doubt the practical usefulness of the this kit.

They look similar to the Kooka brand extensions for the Q (and also for K) that were discussed around here a while ago.

I started a thread on extension tubes a few days ago and got pointed to this earlier thread - clicky

It looks like they'd only really be useful used with the 15-45mm telephoto lens. There are some sample photos on page 3 of that thread that show what can be achieved with them.
